Hydrotherapy Clinics

Furry Friends Physio is currently working alongside a number of local hydrotherapy pools.  Furry Friends Physio provides the physiotherapy to any dogs that have hydro who also require physiotherapy, and can provide clinics based at the hydro centres.  Physiotherapists can also be present at hydrotherapy sessions to give physiotherapy in the water, or give staff advice on how to proceed with treatment. 

Furry Friends Physio sees hydrotherapy as part of an overall rehabilitation programme.  Often animals who are swimming would also benefit from some land based treatment or exercises.  Furry Friends Physio would refer on to a hydrotherapy centre, if they felt this form of exercise would benefit the animal, but by law the hydrotherapy centre would have to inform the vet in charge of their intention to swim the animal.
